We serve the dynamic industry of Built Environment in assessing energy efficiency of properties. We perform commercial building energy assessment and during our survey we collect data that is used for the Simplified Building Energy Model [iSBEM software] for analysis and to generate EPC reports for properties that are being constructed, sold or leased. The energy performance certificates in Manchester must be produced for all commercial buildings including small retail units, big offices and industrial units. A commercial EPC provides an energy rating for a building which is based on the performance potential of that building. Services such as lights, heating and ventilation are taken into account to measure against standards and a rating is assigned to the property. Property inspection usually takes an hour depending on the size of the building. During a survey, many photographs are taken for evidence. A record of the data and images is also forwarded to a government body as proof that the survey has been conducted. EPCs are accompanied by a report which provides recommendations by assessor on how to enhance energy performance of the building. QUOTE A PRICE FOR AN EPC

It's easy to work with Energy Feat, we ask few questions before we send a quote for inspection. Upon your approval we book an survey time that is convenient for you. Within five working days of our inspection we will produce an Energy Performance Certificate and a recommendations report. Once the full payment has been made, we do the lodgement of your EPC with the UK Government approved agency which is valid for 10 years. However, it would be in the property owner's interests to have their certificate updated if any completed work is likely to improve their rating, such as adding extra insulation or fitting double glazing. You can pay us by writing a cheque payable to “Energy Feat” and there is no VAT applied to our services.

Energy Feat can also assist you for a Domestic EPC as well as for a Display of Energy Certificate. It is required by law to display DEC for large public buildings at all times in a prominent place that is clearly visible to the public so they can see how energy efficient a public building is. These certificates are accompanied by an Advisory Report that lists cost effective measures to improve the energy rating of a building. Public buildings fall into this category if they are over 1000 square metres in area. A DEC is valid for one year and the Advisory Report is valid for seven years. However, EPCs for public buildings are valid for ten years. The Energy Performance Certificate or EPC is designed to help reduce our domestic energy consumption by promoting a greater awareness of the energy efficiency of our properties. Our homes currently account for 27% of the UK's carbon dioxide emissions and our associates help to reduce these carbon footprint.
